Opportunity Maps
Turning research into a prioritized backlog.
What They Are
Structured frameworks that identify where the gaps are between current experience and user needs, sized by impact and feasibility. The bridge between "we learned this" and "we should build that."
How They Work
Extract unmet needs and pain points from research. Group by theme. Assess each opportunity against two dimensions: impact — how much does this matter to users — and feasibility — how hard is it to address. Plot on a 2x2 or rank in a list. The high-impact, high-feasibility quadrant is where you start.
What They Produce
A prioritized list of opportunities grounded in evidence, not opinion. Input for product roadmap discussions where every item has a "why" that traces back to research. And a clear framework for making tradeoffs when you can't do everything at once.
